To offer custom teamwear with outstanding service was the driving force behind the founding of RIPPONS SPORTS by Grattan Rippon in 2012. Prior to this, Grattan served as the Marketing & Sales Director for New Balance South Africa for 12 years. Thanks to his passion and driving force, New Balance developed a strong association with the cricket fraternity and managed to secure the sponsorship for the Knights, Cobras and Dolphins as well as personal sponsorships for the likes of Dale Steyn and David Miller. Grattan was instrumental in the initial process of developing the cricket brand in South Africa which today is possibly one of the biggest sponsors of cricket world wide .

In 2012 Grattan decided it was time to get out of the corporate world and set up Rippons Sports which has grown rapidly over the last 11 years supplying customised teamwear as we as fitness & sporting goods to both wholesale and retail markets.
